Material Analyst/Coordinator Job

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a MATERIAL COORDINATOR ANALYST to join our client in Overland Park, KS.

JOB OVERVIEW:

Our client is a leader in the telecom industry. The Material Coordinator (MATCO) will be responsible for requisitioning in purchasing systems the purchases of material and services for CORE technology and equipment deployments. Following the requisitioning, the MATCO is accountable for tracking and ensuring the processing of their requisitions, from approval of requisitions to delivery and receiving of equipment is completed within the time line which the material procurement process has committed to support project in-service target.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- The MATCO is required to provide status of material ordering, shipping and delivery in the Engineering Tool Suite (ETS) system.
- The MATCO is required to reply and take action to resolve material issue requested by Installation team throughout the project deployment cycle.
- The MATCO is required to perform material clearance in conformance to Asset Accounting and Supply Chain Management practices and policies after the project goes in-service or is cancelled.
- MATCO is required to perform its key tasks such as requisitioning and response to Material JIM within pre-defined Service Level Agreement (SLA).

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- High School graduate with minimum five (5) years of working experience in ordering/purchasing.
- Associate degree with minimum three (3) years of working experience in ordering/purchasing.
- Knowledge of Microsoft tool suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
- Knowledge with ordering systems.
- Effective oral and written skills.
- Quick action oriented and problem solving skills.
- Detail oriented and accuracy focused.
- Experienced and sound working skills with computer.
- Working experience with ordering entry, dealing with suppliers/vendors and order tracking.
- Working experience in the telecom industry or in project implementation is required

PREFERRED JOB SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE:

- Experience with PeopleSoft and EPro ordering systems is highly preferable
- Knowledge of telecommunication equipment is desirable.
