Master Scheduler

A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Master Scheduler to design, develop, and maintain detailed schedules in MS Project Server and ensure that planning, scheduling, quality processes and quality assurance are aligned with the Project Lifecycle based on PRINCE2 Methodology.

YOUR DUTIES:

- Ensure that the project management processes and deliverables adhere to the PMO standards
- Supervise the administration and setup of all reporting tools and templates
- Provide detailed reports to program management regarding scheduling plans against baseline analysis
- Utilise Risk Management, Issues Management, and Change Control Management processes, procedures, and templates to moderate the program plan
- Produce weekly Program Management Status report, summarising the information captured on the individual project status reports
- Monitor schedule variances and develop recovery plans as required
- Manage an effective overall change control - documentation, impact analysis and update/coordinate the project plan.
- Negotiate and communicate with key stakeholders to agree changes to approach

YOUR BACKGROUND:

- Proven experience in operating in a Matrix organisation and coordinating scheduling activities for large programs which deliver major reform in a large customer focused business environment
- Experience in working on multi-million dollar complex business transformation programs in a large organisation including multi-faceted business reform utilising SAP or similar software
- The ability to design, build and maintain integrated project schedules
- Successful experience in managing issues, risks and scope changes as they impact the program plan
- Excellent written and oral communication skills along with the ability to successfully negotiate with clients and stakeholders
- Expertise in analysing and evaluating scheduling data, producing data summaries and compiling detailed reports and statistics
