Master Data Management Specialist

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Supports utilization of global master data system.
- Review and analysis of reports for data cleansing.
- Daily and periodic validation of supply chain data flows.
- Troubleshoot end-user system inquiries and provide solutions to global cross-reference set up.
- Liaise between business stakeholders and technical groups to define or gather business requirements, identify new or ways to improve existing processes.
- Participate in project-based work for updates/maintenance to Supply Chain system.
- Managing day-to-day requests for master data updates via helpdesk ticket requests.
- Providing Supply Chain system training may be required.
- Ad hoc projects/requests as assigned.

SKILLS

BS/BA in business, technical, or supply chain field or other degree combined with relevant experience preferred; non-degreed candidates may be considered based on a combination of education and work experience. Must have 3-5 years' experience working in a corporate environment, preferably pharmaceutical. Must be highly self motivated, working with minimal direction. Ability to work in a complex Matrix organization with strong team orientation required. Must have demonstrated analytical, planning and problem-solving skills. Must be fluent in English, with strong communication and presentation skills. Must be have a strong work ethic. Ability to work in a global environment needed.

TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED:
Experience MS Office, with emphasis on advanced Excel or Access skills.
Excellent collaboration/networking abilities.Prior experience working in a global environment preferred. Experience with SAP is preferred by not required
Must have a strong work ethic, with familiarity working with supply chain or database, a master-data maintenance environment.
