Master Data Analyst II Job

MASTER DATA ANALYST II needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in BREA, CA.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Data analysis
- Pivot tables and v-lookup
- Relational database development

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Responsible for assisting with the integration of Customer Master Data obtained through an acquisition.
- Will be assisting the team with data transformation, standardization, cleansing.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Must have four to seven (4-7) years experience
- Must have experience performing data entry, maintenance and analytics of either Oracle or SAP Customer Master Data and good understanding of relational databases.
- Experience in the development of managerial reporting and data analysis
- Working knowledge of reporting tools Oracle, Sequel Server, and DB2 databases.
- Ability to communicate business needs into reporting solutions.
- Knowledge in the development of relational database.
- Effective verbal and written communications skills.
- Ability to problem solve, make decisions and work with minimal supervision. Intermediate level project management skills. Ability to work in a team environment.
- Technical experience in recommending business information management solutions for complex problems.
- Ability to reassess priorities and meet deadlines in a constantly changing environment. Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to travel, occasionally overnight and work irregular hours in order to complete tasks and meet deadlines.
- Programming languages/experience - VB or VBA, C++, C#, .NET environment, SQL, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Ajax, Crystal Reports
- Data base development management - Oracle, SQLServer, MySQL
- Web Server development or management - PHP, ASP environment - Sharepoint experience a plus
- Ability to work independently to solve problems and develop specific solutions for data analysis and support issues.
- May be required to provide user training on any available tools.
