Master Black Belt

Lead cross functional teams to drive significant improvements in product quality.

Identifies barriers to project success and leads efforts to eliminate the barriers

Leads a portfolio of projects that have significant economic impact on the business objectives

Lead process improvement (and subsequently, process design) teams to rigorously apply the Six Sigma process improvement and design methodologies, and achieve business results.

Develop multiple Green Belts (part time Six Sigma Project Leaders).

Lead effots to implement Process Control and Management (process mapping, documentation, metrics, monitoring systems and process ownership

Provide subject matter expertise in the use of quality tools.

REQUIREMENTS:

-Minimum of a 4 year college degree in a technical discipline. A strong engineering or science background is required.
-A Certified Black Belt status in Six Sigma, Design Excellence. Certified Master Black Belt status, achieved through a recognized industry practitioner is highly preferred.
-Highly developed analytical skills and a passion for data driven decision making is required.
-Must be an agent for change. Strong experience in the use and application of change management strategy and tools is required.
-More than 5 years experience in executing technical projects related to product/process design, operations, and/or new product development is required.
-Proven track record of achieving deliverables within a regulated environment is required.
-Structured problem-solving and process analysis skills and experience: uses a systematic, disciplined and data-based process that gets to the root cause to solve problems, has analyzed and improved processes, has experience with TQM tools and methods.
