JOB TITLE: Markit EDM/Database Developer
LOCATION: Zurich
DURATION: 6 months renewable

START DATE: Beginning of January 2014

DAILY RATE: Market rateaccording to experience

Indexium is a Joint venture company of the Swiss and German Stock exchanges, based in Zurich. It has successfully developed a complex Securities Research platform, using Markit EDM as a toolbox, to manage Equities and Fixed Income data for its Index business partner.

Technical platform: Markit EDM v9.0.1.6, Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2, MS Queue, Windows 2008

Indexium is looking to further develop this Securities Research platform and as such is looking for an additional developer, with the following profile:

Pre-requisites

- Minimum 5 year experience developing T-SQL (preferably MS-SQL) solutions
- At least 1 year developing solutions with Markit EDM v8 or above (including UI workflow)
- Some experience designing workflow-based solutions with Markit EDM
- Financial services experience ideally in an Equities and/or Fixed Income environment
- Fluent English
- Team player
- Education to degree level

Advantages

- Experience developing with programming languages such as C#, C++, especially for Web service-based (WSDL) solutions
- Experience in MS-SQL database administration
- Experience in database performance tuning
- Business analysis and/or requirements engineering experience
