Marketing Writer

Our Client is seeking a skilled writer/editor to join their Brand team. The candidate will have at least 5 years of experience writing marketing, product and social copy for a tech company. More specifically, we're looking for someone with experience writing effective DR emails, succinct landing page copy and engaging Facebook posts. This person must be able to work under tight deadlines and be comfortable writing for a global audience of several hundred million readers.

Responsibilities

* You'll be responsible for writing copy for campaigns, emails, web pages, banners, videos, print, clothing, collateral, events, social, etc.
* You'll adopt our tone and voice quickly - needing little to no guidance.
* You'll deliver high quality content using our style and tone of voice guidelines, tools and templates.
* You'll possess excellent grammar, attention to detail and story construction skills.
* You'll quickly edit, tighten and align agency-generated copy to our tone of voice.
* You'll provide accurate time estimates and meet content delivery commitments.
* You'll use Skype regularly and come with a clear understanding of our products and features.
* You'll reinforce the social team as an idea-generator and copywriter, understand and enforce proper treatment of the brand/voice within the social space and ensure all posts successfully resonate with our target audience(s).
* You'll love being part of a small, but nimble, editorial team and be willing to share your work regularly, peer review occasionally and provide support always.

What we'll want to see

A STRONG portfolio showcasing campaign and digital work is necessary to be considered for this role. Oh, and we're looking for someone with marketing experience from either an in-house department or an agency. Not looking for someone with a headline or ad driven portfolio.

The position is initially for 3 months with the possibility of further extensions.

Writer must be able to work out of our London office.
