Marketing Traffic Coordinator

Our client, Global Information providers are currently recruiting for a Marketing Traffic Coordinator for an initial 3 month contract, moving into a permanent position after this period, based in Central London.

TRAFFIC COORDINATOR

The Traffic Coordinator will provide daily customer service, traffic and billing support for the clents products. This position is the crucial link among all departments: Publishing & Association Sales, Research Specialists Team, Billing, and Applied Information Group (service bureau). The Traffic Coordinator has the responsibility of meeting the day-to-day requirements of project initiation, execution and delivery.

You will be expected to help the relationship managers (Americas and EMEA) within the publishing & association Scientificdaily alerts, weekly status reports.
- Coordinate campaign start-up meetings and generate timelines for all new campaigns.
- Provide verbal and written updates throughout the day.
- Route all projects through the Research Specialist team, service bureau and billing.
- Prepare all submission materials such as HTML, order forms, etc
- Identify potential and existing issues and problem solve on a daily basis.
- Maintain all record keeping for each account, both paper and electronic, and Sales force.
- Develop relationships with traffic contacts, system & regional operations staff and market level managers.
- Assist Relationship Managers on educating clients on "best practices" to maximize participation and revenue.
- Provide input on various marketing initiatives and promotional communications.
- Send orders and email communications weekly/daily.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:

- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business, Marketing, Advertising or related field.
- Excellent knowledge of traffic and billing systems and operations.
- Proven relationship & excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to multi-task in deadline driven environment.
- Extremely detail oriented and organized.
- Collaborative and team oriented with a proactive attitude
- 2+ years trafficking experience in List Sales/Direct Marketing highly preferred.
- Previous experience dealing with a large quantity of accounts, including international based accounts, highly preferred.
