MARKETING SPECIALIST needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in New York, NY.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Reporting to the Senior Manager of Marketing for Corporate Solutions, the Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing strategic marketing plans supporting the Governance Solutions. Staying abreast of changes in the marketing environment to best serve the objectives of the organization and adjust plans accordingly. The Marketing Specialist will work closely with design services, the web team, commercial, sales, and other internal departments to take projects from start to finish, and ensure that the team's objectives are met
- Strong management skills - ability to interact with senior management, sales, product management, client service, marketing, and third parties (ie Agency).
- Develop relationships within the Governance business to anticipate client perceptions, manage challenges and maximize on market opportunity
- Drive the marketing strategy and implementation to support the Governance business and their priorities
- MARKETING STRATEGY - Prepare, drive and execute on marketing strategies. Prepare and adhere to budget to support the Governance business.
- MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS - Produce communication materials including Web site and advertising copy, sales collateral, letters, presentations, and proposals.
- PRODUCT MARKETING - Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates the Governance business and its products and services in the market.
- SALES ENABLEMENT - Communicate the value proposition of the products to the sales team and develop the sales tools that support the selling process of your products.
- PRODUCT LAUNCH - Plan the launch of new products and releases and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan.
- MARKET INTELLIGENCE - Be the expert on your buyers, how they buy and their buying criteria; be the expert on your competition. Analyze market trends and recommend changes to marketing and business development strategies based on analysis and feedback.
- SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGEMENT - Engage clients on social media CS channels and monitor what is being said for the Governance business.
- CONTENT/THOUGHT LEADERSHIP - Create various forms of content to help position Nasdaq/Corporate Solutions/Governance business as a thought leader including: white papers, reports, infographics, email campaigns, blogs, etc. Analyze and measure the performance to maximize reach and effectiveness.
- DEMAND GENERATION - Develop the strategy and manage the marketing programs (through direct and e-mail marketing, print and online advertising, Web marketing and list purchasing) that drive demand for Governance products (Directors Desk, Whistleblower, XBRL Filings, etc.). In addition, drive CRM automation/adaption to track leads and ROI.

What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- Five to eight (5-8) years of marketing experience, with demonstrated ability to work effectively with creative marketing professionals and senior business executives in a detail-oriented, organized and dependable way.
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat
- Lead Generation experience
- Able to work on process improvements from web lead to sales
- Content creation, management and distribution experience
- Technical knowledge helpful in Governance, Risk and Compliance
- Knowledgeable in HTML, Dreamweaver, Illustrator, QuarkXPress
- Eloqua Knowledge is a plus!
- Strong writing skills - able to communicate effectively in writing
- A clear and thorough understanding of the financial markets
- Collaborative and excellent at multi-tasking
