Marketing Specialist

BACKGROUND

Our Central Government client is looking to take on a Marketing Specialist to work a 6 month contract based in London.

Our purpose is to support the delivery of the Government Departments strategic and business objectives through effective and cost efficient communication solutions; We are responsible for developing all marketing campaigns. We plan and deliver campaigns and material to enhance awareness of our products and services, to influence customers' behaviours and help achieve our strategic objectives.

We save the department money by using communications to motivate people into doing what we need them to do.

CANDIDATES MUST HOLD VALID CTC CLEARANCE TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE ROLE.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

We need a marketing professional who has private and/or public sector experience working for/or in a large organisation with the following experience:

- Management of complex marketing campaigns with budgets c. £2m
- Briefing external agencies
- Knowledge of media buying
- Customer insight and evaluation processes
- Project management of proposals, budgets and creative
- Presentation skills and senior management liaison
- Professional qualification in marketing

KEY DELIVERABLES

Our timetable covers high profile campaigns running for Real Time Information, Tax Credits, Evasion, Avoidance, Self Assessment, FSD and Graduate Recruitment, all of which support the departments Vision and operational delivery to meet targets. All of the campaigns require personnel with specific marketing experience and ideally qualifications in marketing to be able to: brief an external agency, manage complex budgets, manage stakeholders, handle media buying, evaluate a campaign and write submissions. We are at risk of not being able to maintain and deliver high standard output and marketing management without the right number of people with the appropriate skills in place.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

- Experienced in managing high profile marketing campaigns, end to end
- A degree/qualification in Marketing is desirable
- Experience in Central Government or Charities sector is desirable
