Marketing Services Manager

POSITION DETAILS:

- Good all-round experience, in Marketing, communications, advertising, digital, events, print etc, including working with Financial Services/banking clients.
- Support the Markets business in being the centre of excellence for the creation and production of advertising and all external client printed materials acting as consultant for the Markets business providing them with direction and guidance in respect of advertising and literature requirements.
- Work with the Marketing Manager (responsible for marketing planning), contributing ideas in to the marketing strategy for Markets
- Take a brief from Markets business and convert these to a design proposal and manage the production through to final delivery.
- Ensure all work adheres to brand guidelines and supports the RBS brand.
- Work with the International Banking (IB) Marketing team on ad hoc central marketing projects such as annual visual identity guidelines, supplier reviews, image license library, management of Williams Lea (in-house Creative designersa deep understanding of the briefing and creative process.
- Technical knowledge of at least two of the following: design, print and direct mail production, across the full marketing promotional mix
- Basic understanding of digital marketing (eg website management, video production, email marketing)
- An understanding of the different types of copywriting; and the ability to advise on which suppliers are suited to each project.
- Previous print management experience.
- Experience in managing third party suppliers.
- Multiple project management and administration skills. Experience in managing several projects simultaneously; can demonstrate the ability to adjust personal working style/practices to meet the deadlines of the workload eg suggesting efficiency measures, simplifying processes, renegotiating projects with stakeholders.
- Budget management skills.
- Direct experience of brand management and implementation.
- Strong client management skills with a demonstrated ability to take a brief and execute.
- Expertise across the full range of marketing tools
