Marketing Propositions Manager

Hyphen have a fantastic opportunity to work for a large Utilities client of ours based in Nottingham as a Marketing/Propositions Project Manager for 12 months.

The successful candidate will have strong marketing propositions experience across the full life cycle through to promotions.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- To develop new propositions and projects focused on meeting the needs of SME customers
- To use these propositions to support the delivery of strategy to achieve market leading customer satisfaction and helping customers control their energy use
- Understand the SME customer segments, competitor and market factors influencing the SME business
- Use this understanding to develop new propositions and project concepts to meet both customer and business needs
- Work with key Stakeholders from SME marketing, customer insight and finance to develop robust business cases to support the launch of propositions and projects
- Ensure sign off of these cases with key Stakeholders
- Use appropriate robust project management, to ensure flawless delivery at pace
- Lead the delivery of proposition launches and projects once approved, working with IT and Change Managers as needed
- Ensure propositions are communicated effectively with key 'reasons to believe' relevant to customer segments, working closely with marketing communications
- Work with other SME and wider business areas to ensure smooth delivery eg customer operations, SMART, sales etc
- Set and monitor performance against key performance indicators, ensuring shared learning with the wider SME team and Senior Stakeholders
- Manage new propositions through the 'nursery' phase after set up, until they can be handed to the Segment team as BAU products

Key Skills/Experience:
- Marketing and ideally proposition development experience
- Commercial acumen and an ability to balance customer needs with commercial drivers
- Experience of delivering projects by leading cross functional teams
- Stakeholder management - the ability to influence Senior Stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills including the ability to present complex ideas simply and concisely
- Interpersonal skills - capable of negotiating, persuading, motivating and influencing colleagues at all levels from around the business.
- The ability to deliver to tight timelines
- Previous Utilities experience is highly desirable
