My large blue chip, house hold name Client is urgently recruiting for a Marketing Project Manager (Pricing Implementation Manager) to work on a specific project.

It is accountable for delivering strategic pricing to specific sectors for a key global strategic transformation project. The individual will be assigned to one of the core regions - AsPac, Europe & Africa or Americas.

This position is accountable for:

* Developing and delivering pricing guidance and frameworks to one of three global Sales regions.
* Ensuring pricing is optimally deployed in market supporting the delivery of commercial and profit goals.
* Delivering List Prices in market for new products launching in to country.
* Monitoring and controlling the deployment of pricing guidance and framework.
* Driving commercial decision making when pricing decisions are escalated to the pricing team.
* Providing training and support to regional Sales teams on pricing principles, tools, and negotiation tactics.
* Being the regional pricing expert tagged to one of three global regions.
* Delivering and enforcing global pricing policies and guidelines.
* Supporting Product Management team where required to deliver project objectives.
* Delivering consistent pricing guidelines and framework to the Sales team across key geographies.
* Support decision making and implementation of price management activity with Sales.
* Deliver pricing input on escalated commercial decisions
* Ensure strong governance of all pricing policies and guidelines are adhered to.
* Subject matter expert on pricing tools and framework.
* Day-to-day management & coaching of sales team across all aspects of pricing.

Key challenges faced in the role

* As the role encompasses both key short-term activities such as pricing, as well as requiring a long-term strategic view to ensure value is optimised in mid to long term, the role is particularly challenged to manage both the short and long term perspectives of the business.
* Ability to work on a large, complex, and dynamic project to deliver clear pricing direction to the business.
* Ability to understand a complex set of business models and implement a standardised way of working, whilst managing stakeholders.
* Extremely close working relationship (on daily basis) and constant engagement with Sales and Product Management.
* Competing challenges and desires of stakeholders both locally and globally requiring strong influencing and negotiating skills.
