Marketing Officer

Location:Council Offices, Garshake Road, Dumbarton

Contract: Fixed Term to October 2016

Hours:35.00 hours per week

West Dunbartonshire Council is seeking an experienced Marketing and Communications Officer to join our busy and award winning Communications Team. You will develop and implement striking external campaigns to raise the profile of Council services, and lead internal campaigns that inform and inspire our 6,000 employees.

You will need to be creative and energetic, and work well with the graphic designer and press officers to ensure we maximise our limited resources and maintain high satisfaction with the service. Other regular duties will include managing the production and printing of the quarterly staff and tenant magazines, responding quickly to the many and varied requests from internal departments, and assisting with event management.

You must be able to demonstrate a good understanding and use of the English language, be able to work to tight deadlines, and organise and prioritise your workload. In addition you will be confident communicating with arrange of people including senior managers, both by telephone and face to face.
