Marketing Manager - Events Business

Our client is a membership organisation, they are looking for a Marketing manager as an interim role for 6m to manage a small team. The organisation has a global membership and runs numerous events every year (70+). You will be able to demonstrate working in a similar type of role where there are potentailly a number of events in different locations on a weekly basis, as well as annual week-long events. This is a very commercially focussed role, thus you must be able to demonstrate strong commercial acumen.

You will have; a successful and proven track record in leading a successful commercial B2B event marketing function through effective processes, proven B2B event marketing management experience, experience of B2B event marketing campaign planning and resource scheduling, experience of budget setting and management, forecasting and P&L management, with effective marketing cost control, Educated to degree level with exceptional standards of written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail and will also be able to establish and maintain effective working team relationships within own team and with all other departments.

You will have strong leadership and concensus building skills, extensive experience of developing, maintaining and delivering on marketing strategies to meet company objectives. Excellent use of direct marketing initiatives which includes mail, email and website marketing to deliver proven revenue.

Ideally you will have successful and proven track record in both Institution and commercial marketing function through effective processes and experience of planning and implementing marketing campaigns for both events and video content.

There is scope for this role to be part time (3 days a week).
