Role -
*Define and carry out the required training to all areas in Marketing to embed this and assist Heads of Department to ensure everyone has the requisite skills and competencies to implement the framework
*Pulling together marketing plans from each area, create, issue and update a centralised marketing activity calendar to all stakeholders, including specific sub-views where required for each channel and media plan
*Review the integrated marketing plan to identify and propose any overall 'themes' that can be used as additional marketing campaigns or would create efficiencies
*Lead, facilitate and coordinate the department through the annual marketing planning cycle
*Define and implement the financial (budget) management process and approach for Marketing - analyse and produce departmental level reports with recommendations for issues to be addressed
*Define, produce and maintain all required marketing planning, reporting and tracking documentation, ensuring all areas are applying these appropriately
*Produce the Quarterly Marketing & Financial Summary for approval by the Marketing Management Team and onward submission to the Management Team
*Produce and issue the Quarterly Marketing Operational Performance Report for debate and action by the Marketing Management Team
*Lead the Marketing Management Team in the creation, delivery and achievement of the Transformation Programme required to achieve the integration of all teams and the culture change agenda
*Maintain and report on the Marketing Risk Register ensuring actions are identified and implemented
*Keep an up to date and contemporary view of best practice in marketing planning and propose enhancements to our approach as required
*Ensure the Marketing Plan is properly fed into the wider business planning process
