Title: Marketing Intelligence/Data analyst professional
Role: supporting sales and marketing team with sophisticated pharmaceutical market intelligence
Location: Geneva, Lausanne- Switzerland
Employer: international pharmaceutical company
Type: 11 month contract- to be turned into permanent role
The role of marketing intelligence/data analyst is a trial role that aims at researching pharmaceutical market sales and marketing information globally (excluding US where there is a separate dedicated department for that). It requires a candidate with a solid exposure to pharmaceutical sector. A candidate will carry out in depth market intelligence analysis, use secondary sources such as IMS or Cegedim and assist the sales and marketing team, brand managers and other teams in day-to-day sales activities.
By providing insightful and versatile information, liaising with suppliers and studying the current pharmaceutical market developments on a global scale a candidate will have a significant impact on shaping the sales and marketing activities. The role requires a candidate with excellent analytical and presentational skills, confident speaker and a pro-active can-do attitude. A candidate is required to make recommendations that will contribute to the international sales and marketing business activities and boost the sales level.
A candidate is required to have:
-Bachelor's degree focused on business or an analytical skills
-Very good exposure and understanding of secondary data sources within the Pharmaceutical Industry across international markets
-At least 4 years of experience in pharmaceutical related sales/marketing operations or analytics
-Excellent analytical skills and knowledge of Excel/Dataview
-Confidence to advise on strategic developments and long-term business benefits
-Strong communication and presentation skills (English speaking environment)
