To support the WL2 Marketing Manager to firstly trade and operate the clients grocery website in a way that inspires customers and maximises spend. Secondly to market the website to encourage acquisition and retention in a cost efficient manner.

This role will best suit an individual who is incredibly organised, has a strong attention to detail, can work well independently as well as part of a team and can manage and prioritise multiple tasks and the requirements of numerous stakeholders. You will need to be comfortable working in a fast paced, changeable retail marketing environment and be comfortable working with colleagues on and offshore.
Most importantly the successful candidate needs to demonstrate a strong customer focus and commitment to putting their needs first.

Key Responsibilities

Time will be split equally between commercially trading the site and marketing the site.

Key responsibilities will include:-

Weekly Website Updates & Quality Checking
*Work with ROI Marketing team to plan and brief the weekly website changeover to reflect the strongest deals and most seasonally relevant messages for the customer.
*Work closely with UK commercial team in preparing promotional zones and tweak these so they are relevant for the Irish market.
*Ensure site changes are timely and accurate and reflect a simple shopping trip for the customer.
*Ensure that the brief has been followed and that the information is accurate (spelling, featured images) and legal.
*Identify root cause of issues and escalate for resolution to relevant teams in timely manner.
*Work closely with HSC commercial team to oversee product enrichment and induction tasks.
*Use omniture and other web analytics to inform trade planning.
*Support key brand launches on the website

eCoupon Management
*Responsible for set up, management and analysis of eCoupons.

Email Marketing
*Brief weekly newsletter ensuring key promotions are highlighted whilst also ensuring content is relevant and engaging for the customer. Review email metrics on a quarterly basis.
*Brief adhoc emails where necessary and ensure creative & data targeting is correct.
*Forecast and budget for key trade driving campaigns.
*Manage CRM & Slippage campaign and review performance on a quarterly basis.

ATL Marketing
*Assist Marketing Manager to deliver ALT, press and radio marketing activity. Briefing agencies on creative.

Analysis
*Support Marketing Manager in analysing marketing activity to ensure budget is spent in a cost efficient way.

Paid Search & Affiliates
*Manage affiliate agencies and paid search team to ensure we're maximising the budget and hitting customer targets.

Resource Complexity

This role is cross-functional and requires the ability to work with people at all levels, in different locations. It also involves working with external agencies and coordinating them to deliver activity.

It involves in depth knowledge of how the site works in order to problem solve and ensure the information is accurate and up to date.

Working within the grocery team you will be the champion for the ROI business.

Key Skills/Experience and Qualifications required
*2:1 Degree
*Marketing experience with a strong customer focus is preferred
*Excellent written and verbal communications skills are essential
*Good attention to detail
*Ability to organise and prioritise workload made up of many different projects
*Proactive with drive and enthusiasm to make things better, simpler, cheaper.
*The ability to resolve day to day issues and develop simple solutions to overcome difficulties and challenges. Investigating problems and queries resulting in timely fixes.

Location: Welwyn Garden City. Some travelling required to Dublin (estimated 6 times a year)
