Marketing Programs Manager - Reading - Contract - £34,000 - £38,000

Our client a Global technology company is seeking a Marketing Programs Manager to be based in Reading on a contract.

The Marketing Programs Manager will focus on the following areas:

1. Event Management and Support - including demand generation, engagement activities, logistics and setting up data capture forms/URL's
2. Budget/Purchase Order Management - raising purchase orders and sources quotes from suppliers, forecasting.
3. Reporting - collation of reporting data for the purpose of reporting the health of the business to stakeholders in the UK and Corp.
4. Partnering with other parts of the business on activities to secure mutually beneficial outcomes such as the IT Camp events motion.
5. Supporting the Audience Marketing Lead with ad hoc marketing activities

How to be successful:

To be successful, we are looking for someone with a can do attitude. You will be happy to roll up your sleeves and be part of the team. You will have managed events, marketing campaigns and have a confident level of ability with Microsoft Office (Excel and Powerpoint in particular). A knowledge of the IT Pro audience would be a bonus but not essential.

Key Accountability's, Tasks and Activities:

* Successful delivery of events - on time, to budget, with the right people attending.
* Successful management of purchase orders - created on time to quartile accountability
* Delivering reporting on time to a high level, providing valuable insights to customer behaviour
* Management of marketing campaigns
* Supporting the IT Pro team with ad hoc requests example: shipping of collateral to third party events to support a last minute presentation

Desired skills:

* Proven event management skills - logistics/demand generation/communication
* Demand generations skills - experience of targeted demand generation for example
* Demonstrates high level of collaboration across multiple stakeholder groups
* Excellent oral and written communication skills including writing for a variety of mediums & channels
* Strong analytical skills
* Energetic self-starter, with bias for action and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
