Marketing Engineer

The Technical Marketing/Customer Support Engineer in this contract position will assist in providing technical support for one or many product(s) and/or product family.

Responsibilities may include:

- Participating in new product development
- Representing the customers technical needs
- Creating competitive analysis from a technical perspective
- Developing and presenting technical product training materials
- Working with the sales team to help resolve customers technical questions
- Participation in customer visits, and presentations
- Owning creation and maintenance of data sheets and application notes
- Acting as technical experts, consultants, analysts, and program managers
- Responding to customer/client requests or events as they occur
- Development of solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgment
- Doing QA analysis on new versions of code as well as diagnosing and troubleshooting customer issues
- Program management of code development with outside design house

Requirements:

- Strong troubleshooting skills required
- Strong customer orientation
- Experience with website development including IIS, Windows Server 2008, HTML code, SQL
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing, speaking and one on one with colleagues, vendors and customers
- Experience giving demonstrations of products in a show environment

Nice to have:

- Former QA experience
- Programming experience in.NET, JavaScript, C, SQL, Scripting and batches
