This business is also a leading investment management company that has a significant and growing UK business. The UK business currently administers approximately $100bn* across its business.

Purpose of the role;
Working with the Senior Data Manager within the UK Personal Investing Team, your role will be to support the campaign managers and UK marketing and channel teams with all their data and customer analytical requirements. This will involve data manipulation of the client and adviser databases to provide insight and analysis, aid targeting and create final mailing selections for marketing campaigns. Currently, this is predominantly using SAS but we will be moving towards a SLD Intelligent Marketing Suite in approximately 6 months.

Key responsibilities;
*Mailing Targeting and selection.
*Providing initial counts before a mailing and extracting mailing files.
*Analysing campaign response data.
*Ad-hoc analysis for management.
*Taking charge of the regular reporting such as the customer segmentation view.
*Generating and maintaining the single customer view and client segmentation.
*Dealing with data management issues, queries and development.
*Reinforcing best practice on data security.

Experience
*Experience of Base SAS (or SQL/SPSS).
*Good analytical and data mining skills.
*Good excel skills.
*Attention and care to detail - passion for data-driven insight.
*Good communication and reporting skills.
*Ability to prioritise own time effectively.

Desirable skills;
*Direct Marketing background.
*Financial services knowledge would be beneficial, specifically around investments.
*SDL Intelligent Marketing Suite/Alterian software.
