Marketing Customer Proposition Manager (In Life), Berkshire

Currently recruiting for a Marketing Customer Proposition Manager (In Life) for a large organisation based in Berkshire.

Working on an interim contract for 3 months to cover maternity leave you will be joining a large Base Marketing team for a leading telecommunications company who are at the forefront of new technology and are one of the leading employers in the area.

As Marketing Customer Proposition Manager, you will be joining the newly formed In Life Marketing team and will be leading the development of key capabilities, methodologies and enablers necessary to transform the organisations approach and performance in Base Marketing.

The business is committed to moving to a best in class - Customer Lifecycle Marketing (`CLM`) approach in the next 2-3 years and is just at the beginning of this exciting journey.

We need to build the expertise and understanding of CLM within base marketing and across the wider business, and this role is required to lead the development of capability from a people, process and technology perspective. We need someone who has experience of developing and delivering real customer-centric change within an organisation, and can support the Head of In Life Marketing to lead this transformation.

Specifics for the role:

Further phases of Smart Campaigning capabilities- Build ability for further journeys (CHS, MBB) to be delivered as smart campaigns in the future.
A customer lifestage framework model supporting all four of the major product lines established and adopted in the business as standard
A suite of customer-centric KPIs and supporting reports built off the lifestage framework and demonstrably focused on the most important base opportunities.
A methodology and process which embeds a CLM way of working across the entire Marketing organisation.
Definitions of key CLM programmes, for example `Segmentation and Propensity Models`, including description and justification, to ensure buy-in and prioritisation within the business.
A phased roadmap of enabling capabilities, including Campaign offers and Real Time offers.
A base marketing strategy to build up a database of customers opted-in to receive offers (a Permissions Marketing Database).

Responsibilities

Develop a lifestage framework and KPIs, and rolling this out into the wider business as a standard model.
Define and ensure delivery regular reporting to monitor performance and progress vs the KPIs
Deliver and negotiate the methodology for marketing to build and deliver campaigns in a CLM way
Owning the CLM enabling roadmap- building business case, functional requirements and representing base marketing through the delivery process
Cross-functional engagement with key teams for base marketing success- EI, Analytics, Customer Comms and Finance.

Knowledge and experience.

Must Have

Demonstrable experience of supporting transformational change
Expert working knowledge of the technical aspects of CRM, particularly with regards to data
Analytical by nature and able to derive actionable insight from large data-sets and reports
Flexible, `can-do` attitude, capable of working effectively in an environment where priorities and focus can change rapidly
