Marketing Communications Specialist

Background/ Profile:

Working directly for our prestigious motor industry client in Milton Keynes an opportunity has arisen in the Marketing Communications team. The purpose of this role is to develop and implement marketing communications campaigns which enhance brand/product awareness and deliver sales volumes

Key responsibilities:

- Work with the Communications Manager (Demand) to prepare detailed annual, quarterly and campaign communications plans (including budgets) for Mercedes-Benz Passenger Cars, inline with strategic objectives.
- Project manage, deliver and evaluate brand and product campaigns for Mercedes-Benz Passenger Cars across all channels, working in conjunction with the Communications Manager, Network Development Manager, Digital Communications Specialist, Print and POS Executive, DAG, agencies and marketing suppliers.
- Ensure all opportunities for integration within the Marketing Communications teams (Demand and Conversion), Corporate Communications and Sales Operations are identified and implemented.
- Prepare reports and presentations for DAG, Retailer Meetings, management and other internal customers.
- Control budgets to meet plans and manage on-going financial administration
- Support wider Marketing team to deliver overall business objectives.

Skills/Experience required:

- Graduate level intellect
- At least three years` marketing experience and/or marketing qualifications to include the creative and production processes.
- Excellent communication skills, project management skills and experience of detailed budget control.
- An understanding of brand management.
- Ability to work as a member of a team, but also to take individual responsibility.
