Marketing Communications Offier

This is an excellent opportunity for digital practitioners with excellent e-E-commerce skills to join UKTI's Consumer Retail Team. The slient is currently looking for Digital Advisors to deploy across their London and Regional offices to support UK retailers and brands with their E-commerce strategy, particularly looking at their overseas expansion through online channels such as e-marketplaces.

You should have a proven track record within the retail and consumer sector and experience in creating E-commerce strategy and leading digital development.  You should also have a keen interest in how E-commerce is changing these industries.

You should have strong branding experience - preferably across multiple channels, and may have also gained experience working on a nationwide or global campaign. 

Experience within other sectors will also be looked on favourably. 

Travel within the UK; some overseas travel possible

Contract Length: 6 months, potential for extension for the right candidate

You will Work with UK brands and UK retailers to understand a company's business model, assess its digital footprint (both trade and communications), and recommend how to best to migrate its business model toward an omni-channel or pure play E-commerce framework;

Assist in growing their international business in Gross Value Sales over three years for individual UK brands/retailers, measured through business wins;

Execute cross-function activity spanning commercial, marketing and communications;

Provide an informed view of the technology infrastructure required to deliver E-commerce enabled businesses and digital communications (eg Servers

3 years minimum Omni-channel development/platform marketing experience;

Brand experience with an international platform;

End to end view of business;

e-markets platform experience;

Senior level stake holder management;

Strong advisory/business solutions experience;

Mobile sector, product development, multiple sectors experience;

Content development/comms experience;
