JOB PROFILE - ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Link2ICT has over 90 staff provisioning and delivering services to over 450 schools and educational sites which includes all aspects of technical and professional services and software.

Link2ICT occupies a niche in the ICT market, specialising in the deployment and usage of end to end ICT solutions within educational environments, covering learners of all ages from nursery through to adult education. Our aspiration is to encourage and ensure the use of ICT improves the achievement and outcomes for all learners.

We are now looking for an experienced individual with a creative flare and passion for marketing and communications.

This role is to create, develop and manage the marketing and communications strategy and plan for the business to ensure that campaigns/activities are delivered to the highest standard, in line with the overall business plan and to the satisfaction of clients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Development of Link2ICT's marketing and communication plan to align with the strategic direction and sales plan for the business.
- Working with Service Owners to launch new products and services to end users
- Advising and assisting with the development and implementation of the events programme including product specific events, customer conferences and internal communications within Link2ICT
- Management of social media strategy including brand/reputation management via blogs, social networking
- Management of the web site ensuring up to date content and control of publishing
- Oversee market research projects to help drive content generation
- Advising and assisting with the development and implementation of the public relations strategy
- Managing and developing other members of the marketing and communications team
- Budget responsibility for events and locally funded advertising and PR.

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

- Experience of product launches, brand marketing and managing events
- Experience in driving targeted campaigns
- Experience of creating marketing material to promote services
- Experience of managing PR, publishing, media and advertising agencies
- Experience of taking new products to market and creating marketing strategies for growth
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools and social media
- Experience of measuring ROI in a marketing and communications capacity
- Strong creative writing skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a team and actively contribute toward the achievement of business goals
- Ability to cope with competing and conflicting demands
- Line management experience, with a focus on developing members of the team
- CIMA or other recognised marketing qualification would be desirable but not essential
