MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER

Randstad Professionals is actively looking for a Marketing Communications Manager to join their medical device client in Zuchwil, Switzerland.

GENERAL ROLE DESCRIPTION
This position creates, implements and manages marketing communications activities designed to generate product awareness, brand identity, support solution-based-selling, drive business opportunities and stimulate sales for the organization.
Working closely with the EMEA Regional Marketing Managers, the Marketing Communications Manager translates technical information into targeted communications strategies. The Marketing Communication Manager plans and delivers communication programs to our internal and external customers to positively impact the brand image, identity and promotion.

RESPONSIBILITIES
-Be the contact point as a Marketing Communications expert to one or several business units. Provide recommendations and guidance to the regional marketing teams on marketing communications topics.
-Lead Marcom projects related to business units/brands/solutions and be the one point of contact and integrated project leader for MarComms projects coordinating all support functions needed to execute flawless on the projects.
-Plan, schedule, control and monitor project activities to fulfil objectives and satisfy project requirements. Projects will be related to the production and delivery of the following communications deliverables: literature, advertising, content planning, branding, promotional activities, videos, etc. ensuring appropriate consideration to the company branding guidelines and allocated budgets.
-Allocate company resources to maximize collaboration, efficiency and creativity in the development and maintenance of consistent branding or corporate identity across all marketing channels.
-Support an integrated marketing communications department: actively interact and connect with all marketing stakeholders and over all channels to ensure full integration of marketing communications.
-Drive and oversee MarCom specific processes: translations; copy approvals, etc. Ensure applicable company compliance with all relevant requirements, company regulations, policies and procedures.
-Support vendor selection and management.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
-University degree (marketing, languages, communications)
-Certificate or formal training in project management (online and print). Solid experience in project management and at ease in a complex and international organization
-High proficiency in English language required (spoken and written), German and French beneficial
-Proven communication skills, both written and verbal and interpersonal skills, in terms of interaction with teams and suppliers.
-Marketing communications of a minimum of 2 years of experience. Preferred in a regulated environment.
-This position also requires strong organisational skills with an ability to deliver against tight project deadlines in a busy department.

-Marketing Communication: The ability to frame a story and align others to a business building outcome. Well-developed oral, written and presentation skills with the ability to communicate in a clear and persuasive manner to influence customers and other stakeholders.
-Project Management: Strong competency in project management with the ability to shape and develop further a service oriented one shop stop department covering and focusing on delivering all areas of 360 integrated MarCom.
-Brand Strategy: The ability to plan and build a differentiated and clearly positioned brand that engages loyal customers and grows sales.
-Customers Insights and Analytics: The ability to identify customer insights and market trends, including relationships with customers and influencers that enhance delivery of marketing strategy and business results.
