Marketing Communications Manager

Brook Street are currently working on behalf of our Global IT client to recruit a Marketing Communications Manager. This is a contract role running until the end of June 2015 based in Victoria, London.

Role Purpose
In this role you will be part of a cross-functional team of discipline experts including PR, product marketing, social communications, agency engagement and data analytics and thought leadership research. Key responsibilities are brand management, creating integrated marketing campaigns and Go To Market (GTM) activities that shape audience perceptions and drive business results - this role is key to the success of our sales force.

This role will lead cross-product and cross-audience marcom strategy and execution of GTM activity through seamless integration in partnership with other key stakeholders. They will be responsible for the strategic development, management and integration of marketing communication campaigns, collateral and training which aligned to the business objectives of company advertising.

A primary focus of this role will be the development, execution and planning of brand strategy, marketing campaigns and messaging. Additionally, this position plays a central role in partnering with global marcoms leads to land global activity and campaigns, leveraging digital marketing vehicles and driving perception reinforcing digital interactions with customers as well as demand generation goals. Drives on-going improvements in efficacy of campaign spend, both from a cost and impact/return perspective.

This role contributes to overall trade marketing strategy and implements detailed tactics, all with a high level of impact on customer experiences. Implementing quality in communication and target group messaging by creating localized messaging from the global campaign strategies into relevant market approach.
Developing relevant value propositions per audience to increase perception change and relevant communication-mix-scenario for trade campaigns in the UK, with digital at all relevant touch points.

This role is also responsible for budget management of the GTM and creative agency budget and accuracy in campaign planning: media-mix versus effective target messaging.

Key Accountabilities
1) Brand: Marcoms Campaign: Execute brand and product campaigns, working with all members of trade marketing team and other key stakeholders
2) Liaison with Global: Liaising with the global team to localize and deliver the global campaign activity to launch to UK market
3) Developing Creative Community: Working with key stakeholders from the trade marketing team and DPE, (our technology experts) build a new creative community as part of the campaign roll out process.
4) Bring our products to life for Sales: Working with the sales specialists team, create and deliver a range of new sales collateral, sales training for the different audiences.
5) Positioning and Compete: Create positioning and UK framework for a complete story
6) GTM Materials and Training: Plan and launch new GTM material to support new product launches and sales specials.
7) Specials: Development and leadership of a calendar managing all editorial and product specials.
8) Planning and Budget: Identify gaps and opportunities in the market for FY13 and create integrated strategic marcoms/GTM plan which feeds into the overall Trade Marketing Plan

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

1) Essential
* It is essential you are a digitally savvy marketer and understand the media and advertising business
* Well-rounded marketer with trade and commercial experience; must be a creative, dynamic and forward thinking individual who has a passion for integrated marcom and a passion for media and technology
* Strategic business sense and vision (strategic thinking and analytical skills)
* Strong ability to influence and impact
* Strong project management skills
* Must be able to balance planning and execution
* Strong creative sensibility - but can bring the wow factor to our brand campaigns!
* Detail oriented work style
* Solid marketing communications understanding, preferably in trade or technology marketing, including interactive
* Experience working client or digital advertising agency is a plus
* Innovative - able to identify new opportunities and make them happen!

4) Qualifications
* Marketing or Business related degree or equivalent

As a Brook Street contractor you will be entitled to 25 days holiday per annum, 8 days paid Bank Holidays, discounted gym membership, use of the onsite health facility, access to online learning and training, free parking and an excellent subsidised restaurant. In addition, subject to qualification criteria, you will have the potential opportunity to earn bonus.

Salary: £65,000 - £70,000 per annum
