MARKETING & BRAND MANAGER needed for a LONG TERM CONTRACT opportunity with our large broadcasting client located in PHILADELPHIA, PA.

THE BIG PICTURE:

- Our client is seeking a professional responsible for supporting Brand/Marketing Communications objectives, particularly ensuring brand positioning is consistently express both visually (through design) and verbally (through naming, nomenclature, and messaging) across all touch points to drive brand consideration and preference among prospective and current customers.
- They are seeking a strategic thinker with a proven track record in developing high impact brand marketing communications programs and executed brand strategy efforts across a large, multifunctional organization. Candidate must be able to lead and motivate agency partners and influence internal stakeholders across the company.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Coordinate with Marcom and Business Unit leads and creative agencies to craft consumer messaging in alignment with brand and naming strategy, collate and distribute messaging and naming standards to cross-functional teams.
- Help operationalize the brand bringing consistency of brand voice, visual identity, messaging and employee behaviors across all consumer touch points.
- Improve brand operations and effectiveness, including brand governance and outreach at the corporate and division levels to gain support for and alignment of the brand standards across all external and internal communications.
- Build consensus among stakeholders to enable the adoption and execution of all brand-related initiatives.
- Support stewardship of the company's nomenclature strategy and name generation process to ensure that all product, feature and service naming conventions are aligned. Working knowledge of trademark/IP legal process is appreciated but not required.
- Support oversight of visual brand identity system, from strategy to general maintenance of the brand guidelines to ensure that all changes to the guidelines are communicated throughout the organization and to external agencies.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Bachelor's degree required
- Seven to ten (7-10) years of related brand management, marketing/advertising, communications experience
- Knowledge of and passion for Entertainment, Telecommunications and Consumer Electronics industries.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, communication, and writing skills
- Proven track record in project management, and the ability to rapidly shift priorities based upon marketplace demand.
- Solid knowledge of brand principles and management, naming and consumer research best practices.
- Innovative thinker with creative problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a rapidly changing, dynamic, and fast paced environment.
