Position title: Marketing Automation Administrator
Reports to: Head of Digital
Salary:£25.000 - £35,000 Dependent on experience
Location: Northampton

We are looking for an experienced marketing automation administrator to join the digital Studio at our vibrant integrated marketing agency. Working closely with the Head of Digital, the right candidate will be joining the team to work on an exciting new service we are launching across Europe.

The ideal candidate will have experience with the Administration of Marketo or other similar marketing platforms.

This position will play a key role in executing, integrating, maintaining, and optimizing marketing automation programs designed to intelligently capture, nurture and convert prospects through a closed loop sales cycle. In addition, this individual will be responsible for overseeing marketing data quality, which will include routine data cleansing campaigns as well as participation in any data quality improvement efforts.

Day to day tasks will include but not be limited to:

•Develop an understanding of our clients' sales and marketing initiatives, processes and plans
•Implement, maintain and support lead nurturing and scoring
•Own and manage the marketing automation system
•Create and document best practices in regards to usage/customization of marketing systems and technologies
•Support day-to-day execution of marketing activities and campaigns
•Monitor performance and quality of all Marketo processes and campaigns. Troubleshoot issues, suggest improvements and fix problems. Stay on top of latest Marketo developments.
•Research, test and apply best practice techniques to improve email deliverability, response rates, and actionable data. Know which 'dials' matter and how to turn them
•Coordinate and execute program build out with Program Marketing, including the creation of emails and landing pages
•Produce marketing reports that measure lead generation impact over time, including dashboard reports that track quarterly progress against goals
•Configure and manage all marketing-to-sales lead data handoffs, data updating processes and monitoring
•Help create and maintain high quality lists for programs. Improve list segmentation and list quality. Knowledge of merge, bounces and suppression handling
•Lead periodic marketing campaign file / data audits
•Create, standardize and maintain a data quality strategy to support the development of new marketing initiatives
•Troubleshoot the root cause of campaign errors and work to resolution
•Manage the infrastructure of Marketo and integration to Salesforce. Work closely with the team to construct optimal workflows/process management procedures and ensure accurate synchronization between Marketo and Salesforce databases

Experience/ skills required:

It is essential that you have experience in the below;

•Experience administering Marketo or similar marketing automation system required
•Experience creating Programs/Campaigns and best practices around segmenting data
•Outstanding analytical, business development and problem solving skills
•Knowledgeable in Excel
•Understanding of complex integrated marketing programs within automation tool and refinement for campaign performance optimization
•Strong ability to multi-task and execute tasks within a deadline oriented environment
•Solid understanding of email best practices
•HTML and web production and content management experience preferred
•Strong project management and organizational skills, including ability to work independently and as a team member, set priorities and organize work to meet strict deadlines
•Have solid communication skills, written and verbal

It is desirable that you have experience in the following;

•Have an understanding of business processes and ability to translate business requirements into application functionality
•Be proactive, energetic, and enthusiastic mindset. Passionate about pristine data and constant simplification and improvement to better support business needs
•Have excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levels
•Have strong attention to detail and follow through
•Be able to quickly synthesize and interpret information
•Have excellent communication and organizational skills
•Be metrics driven and results oriented with demonstrated analytical skills
•Some experience, preferably in database marketing or lead generation/management for a B2B software/technology company. Experience with the IT industry preferred
