Marketing Assistant - Bracknell - £12 per hour - 3 month + contract

Our client a Global manufacturing company is seeking a Marketing Assistant to be based in Bracknell on an initial 3 months to cover maternity leave.

About the role
- Working within the Personal Safety Division with the Safety and Graphics Business. Candidate will work in the Marketing Function as a member of the end user marketing team, assisting the communication of the Personal Safety Portfolio to target customers.
- Managing the PR and event schedule for 2014, liaising with Marketing team to drive communications.
- Supporting key market segment teams to communicate products.

Role requirements
- Business related degree preferred
- Educated to at least A Level
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organisation skills
- Forward thinking, proactive, sociable, inquisitive, flexible, multi-tasker with good attention to detail.
- Team player able to manage time/deadlines and thrives under pressure.
- Advanced Excel skills Essential

PR/Events or Agency background experience with an understanding of the Health and Safety Market or relevant industries (construction, food and beverages, manufacturing etc would be preferred.

Pricing
To support the business through the initial process for price change in 2014; analysing data, implementing proposals and producing price lists in various formats (electronic and printed) to business deadlines.

Communications:

Internal:
To drive usage of the Personal Safety Intranet ensuring it is fit for purpose and the key communication channel for the business through implementing a communications plan.
To coordinate, champion and communicate internal initiatives including monthly sales updates, collation and communication of best practice

External:
To assist Product Marketers with marketing communications activity including advertising, email campaigns, printed collateral and exhibitions.
To lead the webinar series liaising with external agencies and internal stakeholders to ensure successful events.
To lead the Personal Safety Division exhibition schedule, managing all operations and communications.
To co-ordinate the PR schedule with an external agency and the Product Marketing team.

Process Improvement
Responsible for lead capture, data entry into CRM database and ensuring processes are followed
To manage the literature and sample fulfilment service
Investigate and propose process improvements (cost and process)
