Marketing Assistant - Online/Offline

My Client a provider of Marketing Solutions and Information Systems are looking for a Marketing Assistant this will initially be a 6 month fixed term contract with the potential for this to become a permanent position.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of the marketing both Online and offline. You will also be involved in supporting the whole team with corporate activity. The role is split between their offices in Kensington (three days a week) and Hampton (two days a week).

The ideal candidate will be of graduate calibre and have at least two years marketing experience.

Key activities:

Copy writing and proofing of marketing literature, press releases, web copy, newsletters etc.
Updating content on website using a CMS
Tracking and monitoring using Google Analytics
Distributing sales leads
Managing client and prospect contact database within Sage CRM
Creating and distributing email campaigns and tracking results

Skills/Experience required:

Good copy writing skills
Interest in social media
Excellent communication skills - able to communicate at all levels
Able to negotiate and liaise with external agencies: events companies, merchandise suppliers etc.
