We are currently looking for a MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST for a contract position of up to 12 months.

POSITION SUMMARY:

To provide support to the Canadian Operation with duties that relate to marketing, communications and training, and business development for a period of up to 12 months. This role reports directly to the Director, Business Intelligence.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- DIRECT MARKETING CAMPAIGNS:
- Participate in the development of campaign materials
- Roll out monthly campaign strategy to operations floor
- Coordinate internal campaign communications by keeping campaign communications up-to-date and information organized in the Intranet
- MAINTAIN WORKFLOW AND IMMEDIATE LETTER LIBRARIES:
- Complete all changes required with letter vendor following internal approval process and ensuring changes are communicated to internal teams
- MARKETING MATERIALS:
- Create, complete, and/or alter all document branding and maintain up-to-date versions on the Intranet
- Prepare and assist with all Power Point presentations, Faxes, Letters, minutes etc. as requested by Director, Business Intelligence or Servicing Director
- Develop internal Floor Monitor messages as scheduled to support communications needs to the operations employees
- Assist in development of all required internal and external communications and business development collateral
- Coordinate the voice talent recordings for internal messages & IVR
- Complete Intranet updates & changes to layouts and content as requested
- Assist in development and creation of operations contest materials
- PUBLIC RELATIONS & CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE:
- Leadership in call quality and compliance initiatives to support an enhanced Customer Experience
- Assist in the development and maintenance of the Social Media strategy
- Review business operating practices to identify ways to improve the Customer Experience
- Assist in the continued maintenance, support and development of New Deal strategies
- Complete corporate website updates and edits as requested
- Facilitate in public relations efforts including: charitable giving and/or company sponsorships, networking as company representative, as well as develop and perform professional business presentations to stakeholders
- ASSIST IN MARKETING RESEARCH AS ASSIGNED BY MANAGER:
- Search white papers online
- Set up Google analytics and provide regular updates
- Follow marketing & discussion blogs, news etc. as assigned by manager and share when relevant to department activities
- Develop and research search engine optimization efforts
- Other duties as requested by Manager

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

- Post-Secondary education in administration, marketing, communications, public relations or other related field required
- Previous experience in administrative, marketing, business development, communications role is an asset
- Experience in working with vendors, customers and clients an asset

ADDITIONAL SKILLS REQUIRED (NON-PERSONAL):

- Bilingual English/French an asset
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Publisher is required
- Website content management system and SharePoint experience is an asset
- Experience in graphic design or with desktop publishing programs is an asset
- Knowledge of social media marketing and current trends in technology
- Strong attention to detail, organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with personal commitment to meeting deadlines and additional hours as required
- Excellent written communications skills
- Professional attitude and good customer service skills with all stakeholders
- Proven reliability with respect to attendance and performance
- Ability to work in a high visibility role
- Ability to travel as business requires
