MARKETING ANALYST needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in San Diego, CA.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Develop new website language and design for the DISCO program.
- Manage and update all internal Intranet website information. Prepare all social media communications for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.
- Plan and implement a variety of outreach activities and events aimed at informing the public and stakeholders about opportunities in the DISCO program.
- Organize, coordinate, and facilitate the logistics required for special events including scheduling, preparation of materials, and staffing the event.
- Participate in writing, editing, and coordinating the publication of a wide range of marketing, advertising, and public information materials for the DISCO program such as newsletters, print advertising, fact sheets, correspondence, and other collateral materials for distribution to the public and for posting to the web.
- Support the development and maintenance of various spreadsheets.
- Prepare written, oral, and visual reports for the DISCO Program; create professional PowerPoint presentations that include animation, video, charts, and graphs.
- Perform data entry and update files as required; review data for quality and accuracy and resolve data inconsistencies; maintain data documentation.
- Become familiar with the Compliance Information System and Contracts database; gain a thorough understanding of the DISCO program including DBE goals.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- The minimum education, training, and experience qualifications include a bachelor's degree, or equivalent.
- One to three years of recent experience performing marketing and outreach, preferably in a professional office environment.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with the Windows operating system and Microsoft Office applications especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with relational database management (Access), and scheduling software (Project).
- Experience in the areas of administrative support and special projects and a good working knowledge of modern office procedures, methods, and equipment.
- Basic knowledge of the principles, practices, and terminology of the marketing/communications industry; familiarity with public outreach and public participation programs designed to engage and inform the community; experience assisting with the coordination of various promotional activities and special events.

- Ability to communicate with various audiences using exceptional interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills; ability to establish, maintain, and foster positive working relationships with those met in the course of work; experience working with diverse populations.
