Marketing Analyst

My client a leading energy provider in the UK is currently seeking a Marketing Analyst. The successful person shall be required to provide cutting edge market and competitor intelligence which informs the commercial strategy and plan for a key project within the client.

The Marketing Consultant should come with proven experience of developing and maintaining high quality market and competitor intelligence which will inform/plan decision making. You should come with a proven track record in carrying out market research activities to provide competitor analysis.

Requirements:

- Able to work effectively and comfortably in multiple Matrix structures where working relationships are more important than organisational structures in delivering results.
- Able to deal with a high level of complexity and to manage this complexity
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- The ability to develop detailed robust plans.
- Good technical knowledge around business processes and commercial management.
- Able to understand different business units and to work across them with effective relationship building, persuasion and influencing skills at all organisational levels.
- Ability to resolve conflicting priorities and to work under significant pressures.
- An ability to quickly gain a thorough understanding of markets and sectors [such as the energy sector] and different technical specialism's.
- Able to identify and deliver efficiency improvements.
- Able to challenge established approaches and form recommendations.
