MARKETING ACCOUNT MANAGER (MATERNITY COVER) - MANCHESTER 12 MONTH CONTRACT £115 - £125

Our client is looking for a Marketing Account Manager to work on a selection of B2B and B2C business within their organisation. The role will also have the potential to allow the suitable candidate to work on other portfolios within the business.

This role is soley based in Manchester, however it will require offsite travel no more than twice a month. My client requires this position to be filled ASAP, therefore the ability to interview THURSDAY 3RD JUNE and FRIDAY 4TH JUNE is highly desired.

THE ROLE

The ideal candidate will have the necessary marketing skills and experience that will cover the following important aspects:

- PUBLIC RELATIONS
- The suitable candidate will have a strong background in all areas of Public Relations including Radio and TV - An excellent communicator is essential.
- The role will involve attending monthly PR meetings with marketing directors and agencies and be able to communicate and discuss effectively the issues raised.
- Be able to utilise local free editorial opportunities that will promote the business.
- Work alongside a PR agency to produce a Public Relations plan on a monthly basis.
- DIGITAL
- The ability to manage and look after the website's content ensuring all details regarding business specific promotions are kept up to date and relevant.
-SOCIAL MEDIA
- Work alongside the Digital Marketing Manager within the business ensuring a 12 month Social Media plan is outlined and produced with a detailed monthly and weekly plan.
- Work with the marketing assistant to ensure that the twitter feed for the business is acting in line with the social media plan.
- Liaise with retailers to assist and engage their own social media plan in support of their store at the business within the organisation.
- CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT
- Communicate with the centre manager to identify and promote special offers from retailers to the database via social media channels and emails.
- Communicate with the retail liaison manager to identify restaurant offers through social media and the database.
- INTERNAL COMMUNICATIONS
- The suitable candidate will also be required to create and develop creative marketing material that will be distributed amongst all stakeholders, and be able to discuss individual requirements, organise the distribution of such material, attend annual meetings and produce an annual marketing guide.
- REPORTING
- The role requires weekly update reports to be created through emails, and to ensure all report data for marketing and PR elements within the business are communicated to the Marketing Director.
- AGENCY LIAISON
- The Marketing Account Manager will be required to be a point of contact for agency related queries and to ensure all pre-agreed marketing and PR deadlines and plans are adhered and delivered.
