Marketing Account Manager - 12 Months - London

My client is a highly recognised, Oil and Gas Major who currently has an opportunity for a Marketing and Design Manager to join them in their London offices. The role has opportunities for home working and is initially on a 12 months contract with a high possibility of this being extended into a longer term role. The vision is to become a global network media production with a mission to deliver effective communications of the Group brand.

Ultimately, this role sits within the Events and Marketing department where teams are responsible for the delivery of Media procurement and production. The department provides a single, readily accessible route to a wide range of communication services including design, digital, print, multimedia, web, film & video, editorial, exhibitions, events and presentations. These services are provided through a number of major contracts with external suppliers and through the management of preferred supplier lists.

The production project team play a key role in supporting the communications and marketing strategies for the business and functions in the company group. The role is to provide efficient design communications marketing content including campaign visualisation, conceptual design, print and digital media projects and supporting exhibitions/conferences via events team.

Duties:

+ Direct control of circa 30 requirements per month - depending on complexity of jobs
+ Direct control of costs/budgets
+ Working with the customer/clients to shape their requirements, ensuring the end result is best for the customer needs
+ Briefing the design and production teams ensuring all parties are clear on the brief
+ Developing project plans and managing resource accordingly
+ Quality control at the design and production stages, ensuring output meets the requirement brief
+ Ensure all processes are compliant with relevant Health and Safety, ethic, legal and branding policies
+ Building excellent working relationships with Stakeholders
+ High levels of customer satisfaction

Skills:

+ Strong background in a creative environment, working with brands (agency or internal)
+ Skilled in marketing communications, print manufacturing
+ Strong knowledge in DTP applications - Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Acrobat, InDesign
+ Excellent communication skills
+ MS Office
+ Budget management
