Market Spend Analyst Job

MARKET SPEND ANALYST NEEDED for a SIX (6) PLUS CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Pittsburgh, PA.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Audit and analyze distributor and operator bill backs and deductions against the approved contract management system (TRADEwinds) programs.
- Enter data for the processing of bill backs and deductions.
- Ensure timely invoice/deduction turns of open items in the assigned account/divisional portfolio.
- Proactively recognize customer bill back patterns and practices.
- Communicate with internal and external customers to facilitate resolution on contract and claims payment discrepancies.
- Budget, track and report spend activity to Finance to estimate spend liability for accrual purposes.
- Establish and foster effective relationships with both internal and external customers.
- Conduct ad hoc reports/analysis for Sales and Finance on processing activity via MS Access queries of the Data Warehouse.
- Proactively identify process improvement opportunities.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Experience in a Finance field where candidate was required to utilize analytical skills and techniques on a frequent basis.
- A minimum of one (1) year of professional finance-related experience required.
- This role is ideal for well-organized candidates with a Finance background looking to learn, or expand their knowledge of, the Foodservice business.
- Excel skills - V Lookups, Pivot Tables and Macros highly desired
- Previous audit experience is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills, demonstrated by previous roles requiring interaction with internal or external stakeholders is preferred.
- Organizational and time management skills, demonstrated by previous roles which required managing more than one priority at a time is preferred.

- Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- EXPERIENCE IN FINANCIAL END OF THE FOOD INDUSTRY AND/OR SOMEONE WHO IS LOOKING TO GAIN EXPERIENCE IN THE FOOD INDUSTRY
