MARKET RISK SME/BUSINESS ANALYST (BANKING)
On behalf of our client, a leading bank in Zürich, we are looking for a BUSINESS ANALYST WITH IN DEPTH KNOWLEDGE OF MARKET RISK. For this contract position based in Zurich in Switzerland our client is looking for an English speaking candidate who can start as soon as possible.
Are you looking for an exciting new opportunity with a market leading global company then please have a look at the details:
ROLE:
- Provide regulatory compliance for Market Risk and Interest Rate Risk in the Banking Book of a specific project.
- Setup risk appetite and limits for the bank
- Setup of internal as regulatory market and interest rate risk reports
- Support in Treasury and Money Market cluster management
SKILLS:
- Over 7 years of experience in business analysis with focus on market risk projects
- Solid Market risk knowledge (including regulatory, eg FINMA circulars 2008/6 and 2008/20, BCBS368)
- Good understanding of financial products
- Excellent understanding - written and spoken of English
- Ability to drive projects paired with an independent and proactive working style
- Effective and confident communication with Senior Management and Front Office
- Strong analytical capabilities as well as strong Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint skills
- Ability to learn and apply learning quickly
- Excellent team player
- University degree in business administration, economics, finance or another quantitative area, or comparable level of education.
- CFA/FRM would be considered a strong plus.
- German Language skills highly beneficial
