Market Risk Manager - Prime Brokerage

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Market Risk Manager for a new role within Prime Services Risk on behalf of our client, a Global Investment Bank who are currently enjoying an increase in volumes within their Prime Services business. This is an exciting new role that has been created and offers longevity, scope and opportunity for the successful candidate, who will help redefine the Risk Framework for Prime Services.

You will be tasked with front-line risk management but more importantly you will spearhead the development and implementation of new cross-product margin level analysis and risk management approaches, which will include defining, implementing and seeking approval for risk management frameworks for rates, credit and equities. This will involve daily close interaction with product development as well as Front Office sales and management.

You must have a strong capital markets background and possess a detailed understanding of Market Risk measurement/management and ideally have experience in methodology development. You should also have exposure to Prime Services/Brokerage and experience with counterparty credit risk would be an advantage.
