Market Risk Business Analyst ** Greenfield I am seeking a strong Market Risk Business Analyst to join my retail banking client based in bank tube station in London City as part of a multi million pound Greenfield Market risk investment programme within the bank As the Market Risk Business Analyst, you will be working between the risk business and IT, as well as gathering the requirements and producing top quality documentation; you will also be the conduit between IT and the risk business to ensure free flow of honest clear information around both the functional processes and design, and the technical development life cycle The overall project objective is to implement a highly automated, scalable and flexible market risk aggregation and reporting solution which will support the roll out of the market risk framework across all of the Bank This role is a combination of functional and technical market risk, meaning as the business analyst you will be at the top of your game on both the business process, and the technical systems development This is a permenent role, based in centralLondon. Salary range is £50,000- 60,000 Requirements * Strengths as a BA on a risk platform * Experience within a Tier 1/2 Investment Banking environment or a relevant Consultancy * Experience working between business and IT * Experience on a self build project/Greenfieldsite very useful * Functional and technical expertise * IT background- ideally as a developer or programmer * Market Risk and risk measures such as VaR, Stress Tests, Greeks and an understanding of financial models. * Knowledge of traded products (Interest Rates, FX, Inflation, Credit) and an understanding of the risk factors involved including P&L contribution * Advanced use of Transact SQL, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access.
