Market Data Vendor Manager

Market Data Sourcing Manager//London//Investment Bank//£400 to £420 p/d

You will be responsible for delivering market data sourcing services to the bank with particular emphasis in MDS issues related to the use of exchange information within the bank. You will be the main contact for negotiating enterprise commercial deals with exchanges for internal and external usage of their data as well as acting as Vendor Relationship Manager with exchanges for MDS related issues.

Candidates must have a core understanding of Financial Services business & experience of working in a global environment, detailed Business/End User market data requirements and strategic direction, detailed knowledge of Market data products (data sets, functionality, and differentiators), expert exchange knowledge, vendor strategic direction, and TCO (licenses, infrastructure, exchanges/3rd party costs), Relationship (customers and vendors) management (customers include COO's, Business Managers, End Users), communication & interpersonal skills, Vendor Management Skills.
