A global tier 1 investment bank is looking to hire a Market Data MDM / MDSL administrator to join their global reaching market data team. The administrator is a key member of the team, responsible managing and maintaining the MDM 2000 system and associated updates including; pricing from vendors, file uploads, profile changes and contracts. Other responsibilities include allocating costs, user billing, user request management, product allocation queries, reporting, vendor/exchange declarations and day to day maintenance.

This is a multidimensional business facing role so this person should be an effective communicator with the ability to build relationships and work with the team the handle and resolve incidents and queries. The Admin will work with the Market Data IT team, Market Data Vendors and a range of business departments on a daily basis so will get a huge amount of exposure. This is a perfect opportunity for a knowledgeable MD Admin with good MDM/MDSL skills to join an established Market Data team that are key to ensuring a high level of service consistency and improvements for the bank globally.

Ideal skill set:

* Must have strong Market Data Management / MDM / MDS 2000 / MDSL working knowledge.
* Must have experience as a Market Data Administrator or similar capacity, ideally within financial sector / tier 1 investment banking environment.
* Good understanding of market data vendors and contracts, including but not limited to Thomson Reuters, Thomson Financial and Bloomberg.
