Market Data IT Engineer

MARKET DATA IT ENGINEER - Our client, a major Financial Services company, is currently looking for an experienced Senior Market Data IT Software Developer to join the Zürich based Market Data IT Solutions Integration Team.

Tasks & Responsibilities

- Responsibility for the design and architectural decisions regarding implementation of market data distribution system
- The opportunity to work with complex market data platforms
- The possibility to participate discussions with global major market data vendors (Thomson Reuters, Bloomberg, SIX Financial Information and others)

You offer

- Degree or higher education in Information Technology
- At least 5 year experience as Linux C Software Developer (high availability, load-balanced, low latency, very high throughput distributed systems)
- At least 3 year experience with market data distribution systems and their APIs
- At least 3 year experience SIX Financial Information market data feeds and respective APIsPrevious experience with working in large financial institution
- Excellent understanding of software development and software integration in heterogeneous distributed environments
- Fluency in English, German is an advantage
- Drive for high quality and working with other organisational units to achieve common goals
