Market Data Application Analyst

Our Client, a leading Bank, is looking for a Market Data Application Analyst. This role will be based in central London, on a 6 month rolling contract. The candidate will have a good working knowledge of the market data suppliers and market data licensing concepts.

The successful candidate will have the following:

- Market data analysis experience within a finance environment, across applications and systems.
- Good knowledge of Market Data suppliers, especially Thomson Reuters and Bloomberg (contractual terms, conditions of use, products, data content and data structure)
- Experience in cost effective optimisation of market data (applications and systems)
- Market data licensing knowledge concepts including: source, frequency, derived data, distribution, unit of count
- Experience with implementation and the developing of market data entitlement schemas
- Experience of document management, versioning and sharing technologies - eg SharePoint
- Strong information management and manipulation skills - particularly in Excel (Pivot tables/data analysis etc.), Word, Powerpoint and Visio

Rate: £400 - £600

Duration: 6 months
