Market Data Analyst

I have a great new opportunity working for a leading financial institution based in the city. My client is looking for strong Market data Analyst to support senior members of the team in the implementation and development of a data acquisition strategy globally.

You will be involved in Developing and managing relationships with data suppliers globally, as well as the following;

- Develop knowledge for required usage of data, and execution of data acquisition requests;
- Maintenance of data inventory of all data supplier contracts;
- Inputting, processing and verification of all data supplier invoices including analysis against current years data budget;
- Maintenance of financial data processing system including contract management;
- Support the Data Acquisition team members with market intelligence gathering for alternative and new sources of data suppliers.

KEY SKILLS:

- knowledge and experience within a financial market services organization;
- Understanding of market indices
- Excellent presentation and written communication skills.
- Strong time management and organisational skills.
- Adept at operating independently and as part of a team.
- Detailed orientated with strong numerical skills
