Market Data Administration and Vendor Management Team Leader

Location: London

Salary: Circa £70K + banking benefits + bonus

Leading global tier 1 investment bank is looking to hire a Market Data Administration and Vendor Management Team Leader. This is a new role they are looking to hire for in order to improve the efficiency of the Market Data Admin team and also develop their Vendor Management capacity. The role will be split into two major dimensions:

1. Administration side, someone to manage the MD admin team, ensuring the team effectively handle invoices and associated processes/SLA's. Therefore someone who has come from that background would be ideal and would have the ability to appreciate the work the team are engaged with. The team leader will not have to do much of the banks on administration, more direction.

2. Vendor/Contract Negotiation and Management, working across portfolio of vendors to ensure global coordination, cost analysis and vendor sourcing. Someone with a good background in Vendor Sourcing is important.

The ideal candidate will be someone with extensive Market Data experience, with some good finance knowledge, process administration and commercial awareness to handle multiple vendors/contracts to ensure the bank have optimum purchasing power.
