Market Analyst - Private FUND-Geneva

MARKET ANALYST - PRIVATE FUND-GENEVA Our CLIENT Our client is the main shareholder of an Asset MANAGEMENT part of an international organization. This shareholder has decided to manage his own fund from Geneva and to hire a team who will be dedicated to this specific fund. Therefore he is looking today for a Market/Financial analyst. The requested candidate needs to have 3-5 years of experience in portfolio management or asset management, Russian speaker (ideally), with a macro-economic and large financial market vision and understanding, as well as the ability to use algorithmic trading and quantitative analysis. The ROLE You will be working directly with the Fund Manager and the Shareholder, your main duties will be: * Market analysis, daily and weekly reports * Based on a macro-economic vision, suggestion of investment strategies (Bond market, FX, commodities, precious metals, etc.) * Ongoing recommendations on the US and the European Financial markets, STOXX Europe 600 and 50 * Relevant use of quantitative trading approach and algorithms * Set up KPI's, analysis, financial plan and reporting related the Fund performance * Possibility to develop software applications linked to the activities of the Fund * Ad hoc projects The CANDIDATE we are looking for * 2-5 years experience in Private banking, Trading, Hedge Fund or Asset management as an Analyst, Portfolio Manager or Quantitative analyst * Master Degree in Economics or Technical education * Good understanding (on a macro-economic point of view) of the Bond market, Forex, precious metals and industrial commodities (energy, etc.) * Ability to use quantitative trading and algorithms * Organized and structured, strong analytical skills, very good communication skills and ability to work independently * Having a strong view and understanding on US and European financial markets, market strategy on bond market, S&P500, STOXX EUROPE 600, STOXX Europe 50, etc. * IT literate, very good Excel user + financial software * Fluent in Russian, English and French * EU citizen + passport OR Swiss permit/passport THE Offer This role is made for a candidate having an entrepreneurial spirit and the willingness to work in a flat organization, directly in contact with the Shareholder.
