Market Analyst

The Role:

This global leader in the space is looking for an experienced analyst to join a team who serve clients in different sectors of the fertilizer and nitrogen industries. The market analyst will contribute to forecasting and analysis products covering the nitrogen markets, whilst improving analytical models and tools. The successful candidate will heighten his / her industry expertise through this role whilst collaborating on global assignments with colleagues based in the USA, Asia and India.

The ideal candidate will have an analytical mindset whilst being able to demonstrate a good knowledge of nitrogen markets or other related markets such as oil, gas or other fertilizers. The position will include the development of a commercial awareness and require excellent quantitative and communication skills to liaise with leading individuals within the market.

Key Competencies:

* Strong numerical ability particularly within Microsoft Excel.
* Strong ability to critically analyse data, identifying trends and key drivers.
* Economics, Engineering, Chemistry or related degree.
