Maritime Analyst (SC) - Contract - Hampshire - £competitive

Synergize Consulting are now hiring for a Maritime Analyst to work at a leading defence client in Hampshire on a contract basis.

This analyst is required to support the work required to ensure that robust and auditable advice is generated which can be used in support of operational analysis and advice focussed principally on aircraft carrier operations. The analyst will work in a multi-disciplinary team of civilian analysts and serving military
officers.

Responsibilities include:

- Being a point of contact for providing 'above water' capability and procurement advice to MoD centre,

frontline commands and other customers. This advice needs to be placed in the context of both current operations and those the Services are expected to conduct in future.

Experience required:

- Comprehensive knowledge of current 'above water' doctrines, tactics, techniques and procedures, in particular

carrier strike operations.

- Competency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Knowledge of amphibious operations and Littoral Manoeuvre doctrines would be desirable
- Due to the nature of the client, it would be an advantage for candidates to hold or be eligible to undergo SC Clearance.
