Manufacturing Test Engineer

This long term contract position will support troubleshooting of Agilent 3070 In-Circuit Test programs and test fixtures for manufacturing of electronic industrial control products in accordance with sound and acceptable engineering principles. This position receives assignments from group manager and works closely with other lead test engineers. Good communications skills, influence capabilities, and an ability to work within a cross-functional team environment are needed to achieve objectives.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience with programming Agilent-3070 In-Circuit Test systems and/or Functional Test systems
- Experience in the design and operation of spring-probe test fixtures
- 2-5 years' experience in Test Engineering, Design Engineering, Quality, or Manufacturing Test roles
- Mental and visual ability to create, read, and interpret printed circuit board schematics
- Knowledge of electronic hardware design processes and mechanical design concepts
- Knowledge of software development and revision control environments and processes
- Ability to troubleshoot, root cause problems involving both hardware and software

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- BSEE, BSEET, BSEE; Bachelor's degree in electronics or electrical engineering
- Familiarity with electronic assembly equipment and processes (SMT and WAVE)
- Familiarity with manufacturing inspection and/or technologies and processes
- Experience with Lean 6-Sigma tools
- Experience with PCB workmanship standards, solder qualification
- Experience of managing own projects that may include financials and leading resources to successful completion
- Exhibits good interpersonal, verbal, written communication skills, and ability to work in teams
